Since 1990,
Ecker
Yachting chartering company has organized in an interval of 3
years, a Regatta in the Mediterranean Sea - The Ecker
1000-Miles-Race.
This Regatta has a very high public awareness especially among
German yachtsmen and most international sailing magazines are
reporting about it.
The Regatta will be started for the 11th time in October 2007. The
planned route will be Zadar - Katakolon - Samos. Start in Zadar
will be on 13th of October, and finishing line will be at Samos
Marina, on the 27th of October.
Samos has been selected as the final destination, because Ecker
Yachting company, operates one of its bases at Samos Marina - Pythagorio. Apparently the Ecker 1000 Miles Regatta is a unique
chance to place Samos Marina and Ecker Yachting base into the
focus of the European yachtsmen's world. |
